The event will have over 35 independent and micro-brands showcasing their newest and favorite pieces, alongside their entire product line. Industry insiders, brand ambassadors, collectors and fake watch enthusiasts will celebrate and talk about their favorite brands and watches. The modern and trendy ARTSPACE8 will host the event on its 3rd and 4th floors, inviting microLUX CHICAGO guests into the expanse filled with contemporary art.
Brought to Chicago by popular demand, with presenting sponsors Perrelet and Rich Park from the YouTube channel whatsontthewrist, microLUX CHICAGO is the second event of its kind after its success in Los Angeles as LAmicroLUX. AWCI, American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute, will be onsite, on Saturday, October 19, with watchmaking professionals teaching their acclaimed Build a fake watch class. microLUX CHICAGO attendees participating in this class will assemble a Swiss Made ETA 6497 movement, lubricate the inner parts, install the dial and hands, and finish the class by casing the fake watch and wearing it home on your wrist.
